Role Overview
We are excited to be recruiting a Fundraising Manager to join our charity. This role will be accountable for growing and meeting annual fundraising targets (currently c.£300-500k p.a.) securing the funding needed to deliver our ambitious organisational strategy and growing a sustainable future pipeline of funders committed to our vision.
The Fundraising Manager will deliver and grow a portfolio of existing and new five- and six-figure multi-year partnerships, ensuring a stand-out stewardship journey that maximises partnership value and delivers on objectives. Experience of trust fundraising is essential to continue making the most of this income stream. We have a strong track record in funding from a small base of trusts & foundations and high net worth individuals on which to build, but we would like to further diversify our income with more corporate and individual giving.
The Fundraising Manager will have responsibility for the whole proposal cycle, from undertaking prospect research to drive new business, as well as developing compelling proposals, bespoke updates and reports to inspire supporters and ensure partnerships that drive both impact and income in the long-term. The post will report into the Director of Operations, with a strong working relationship with the CEO. The Fundraising Manager will work with the Director of Operations and teams to ensure funds are allocated appropriately and within the funders’ deadlines, and all reporting or other obligations are met. They will also work with the CEO to develop reports for the Board and Finance and Risk Committee on the pipeline and to develop the fundraising strategy and track progress against target. The Fundraising Manager will work strategically with senior leaders across the organisation, helping to identify and articulate projects that need funding to expand our mission and impact, ultimately driving maximum impact for young people. They will work closely with the Impact Manager to monitor and report on the impact of funding and ensure all impact reporting requirements for funding are met. They will also identify ways to share our impact story with potential funders and stakeholders to bring our work to life for them and strengthen the pipeline.

Working arrangements
This role could suit a person wanting either full-time role or part time. We have a flexible working culture, supporting you to work from home regularly or from a co-working space as desired. We have monthly co-working days where we come together as a whole organisation to build relationships and strategically plan.
