Early Years Specialist Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Early Years specialist to join the team, as a teaching assistant, at a local primary school in Huyton. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on young children’s education and support their development in the early stages of their education.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supporting the teacher in the delivery of the Early Years curriculum;
- Assisting with planning, preparation and organisation of activities and lessons;
- Engaging with children in a supportive and nurturing manner to promote learning and development;
- Supporting individual and group learning activities, both in the classroom and outdoors;
- Assisting with the assessment of children’s progress and achievement;
- Providing one-to-one support for children with special educational needs;
- Building positive relationships with children, parents and staff;
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times.
Requirements:
- A minimum of Level 2 in Childcare and Education or equivalent;
- Experience working in an Early Years setting;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- A passion for supporting the development and education of young children;
- Ability to work as part of a team;
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
