EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant Role and Responsibilities:As an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of our school’s efforts to provide essential support to our youngest students with special educational needs. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- One-on-One Guidance: Offering personalized assistance to students, ensuring their needs are met, and fostering their development.
- Collaboration: Working closely with EYFS teachers and other staff to create an inclusive and nurturing environment that encourages the participation of all students.
- Resourceful Assistance: Contributing to the preparation and organization of learning materials and resources tailored to the unique needs of students with special educational needs.
- Emotional Support: Nurturing the social and emotional growth of students, providing a warm and caring atmosphere where they can thrive.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is advantageous.
- A genuine passion for early years education and supporting young learners, especially those with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude to inspire and engage young students.
