An English teacher job has become available at a school we work with closely in the Bristol area. Your new school A school located in the Bristol area are looking for an English teacher. This two-form entry secondary school is a popular inner-city school and has a friendly and warming staffing team. The school places a high focus on inclusion and equality ensuring that all pupils are happy and safe in their learning environment. The school has also recently been graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted and has aspirations to continue to develop and grow; therefore, they are looking for a dedicated and driven teacher who is passionate about teaching and can fit in well with the supportive environment that had been created. Your new English teacher job This English teacher job is due to start in April on a Long-term basis until the end of term, there is plans to continue with this contract if the fit is correct. If successful, you will be responsible for teaching kS3 and KS4 classes, in which class sizes vary but will never be more than 30 children. This is a full-time role, with the requirement for planning, delivery and marking. Within this role you will get half a day planning per week. What you’ll need to succeed

• You should have experience within a classroom setting in the last 2 years.
• Experience in teaching key stage 3 and 4 is preferred but not necessary.
• A comprehensive understanding of the UK national curriculum.
• You will need strong communication skills.
