On behalf of Northumberland County Council, we seek an Educational Psychologist. Skilled in remote, hybrid or f2f qualifications, to head our efforts on our well-being initiatives in the city to support Children’s Mental Health in schools and educational practitioners. The job purpose of the Educational Psychologist is to support the development, educational achievement and inclusion of all children and young people by: Giving advice about educational needs and difficulties Providing consultation, assessment, advice and intervention for schools, parents and other agencies concerned with children and young people Carrying out preventative work with parents, teachers and other professionals Promoting improved outcomes for children and young peopleIn addition to the opportunity to work in a supportive service that values professional autonomy, you will benefit from terms and conditions like payment in full of HCPC registration and the DBS Update Service costs and agile and flexible working. Applicants for the educational psychology posts must have appropriate qualifications to work as an educational psychologist.
