Our clients, a not for profit organisation that supports both formal and informal education for all young people is about to recruit a Project Officer to join a small but very busy team which is responsible for building relationships with educational organisations, businesses and volunteers etc. They are looking a graduate (or equivalent) who has experience of and a good understanding of working in education, schools, colleges or skills education and who also has confident and professional relationship building experience.

The duties of this role will include:

• supporting existing relationships and developing new links with educational organisations
• ensuring that well trained volunteers are available to support teachers, youth leaders etc
• supporting the volunteer programme
• developing and implementing projects, events and support programmes
• contacting and speaking with educational organisations
• creating content for websites
• analysing data
• helping to create training courses for volunteers

To be successful in this role, you ideally will have previous experience working with students, schools, teachers, volunteers etc. Have the confidence to successfully build professional relationships, be able to manage stakeholder expectations, have excellent time management together with excellent communication skills
