Zest Education is working in close partnership with a lovely school located in Burton on Trent who are looking to recruit a ECT for a job opportunity in KS1, to start September 2023. The school are able to support through your NQT terms and provide you with CPD throughout. The school is a busy primary which caters for a broad range of pupils and has a supportive and inclusive ethos across all year groups. The school benefits from excellent outdoor facilities and has a supportive SLT. The school implements a well-structured, challenging curriculum that stimulates a learning environment that encourages high achievements for both pupils and staff. Behaviour throughout the school is good and you will be required to maintain this with good behaviour and classroom management. You will need to demonstrate good knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, but also be able to tailor this and your teaching strategies to best suit the needs of the children. You must maintain strong behaviour management, providing continuity to the class and students. You must ensure the classroom is left in an appropriate manner, with all marking complete for the following day. The ability to build strong and effective working relationships is essential for this role, so if you feel you meet the criteria we’d love to hear from you! The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
