Full time SEN role in an amazing school Working with one of the most unique and exciting schools in Wolverhampton. This small school supports children with a variety of complex needs from the age of 4-19. This is a full time role, 5 days a week supporting an early years class of 6 children who have a variety of complex needs. A large proportion of the class are non-verbal so knowledge of communication methods will be advantageous – such as PECS, Makaton etc. You will be working as part of a team that are specialists within their field and have worked with these children for a term already. You will be part of a team consisting of 4 other TAs and a class teacher. Whilst you will not be supporting one child in particular you will have the opportunity to help develop these young minds on an individual basis and a small group basis. The hours of this role are 8:45am until 3:35pm on a Monday and Wednesday, on a Tuesday, Thursday and Friday your hours will be 8:30am until 3:20pm. You ideally will have experience of supporting children with SEN however this isn’t essential. What is, is a desire and passion to support children with SEN. Additional training will be provided however a dedication to your own career development will be highly regarded and appreciated.
