Across Hertfordshire we deal with various schools, ranging from small form entry schools in idyllic village settings to large three form entry schools located within lively towns.

These schools will provide you with a safe and supportive environment assisting you to grow and develop your skills.

Mentors will provide regular feedback and support creating an encouraging environment. You have access to excellent resources and advice to help you succeed as an Early Careers Teacher.

Our schools believe ECTs are able to bring motivation, hunger and new teaching methods into the classroom. If you are an ECT with the following attitudes then we want to hear from you!

• Possess a can-do, positive, and confident attitude.
• Knowledge of the practices and values of successful learning and teaching in the classroom.
• Capable of establishing routines and disciplinary strategies by following the schools own behaviour policies.
• A good team player so that you are able to work closely with fellow staff members and ultimately can maximise students learning together.
