Are you a talented and experienced Drama/Performing Arts Teacher looking for a new opportunity in Hull? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Drama/Performing Arts Teacher to join a good school in Hull starting from September 2023 until at least Christmas 2023. This is a part-time position, with flexible working days between 2 and 4 days per week based on the successful candidate’s availability.

Duties of the Role:

• Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring Drama/Performing Arts lessons to students of various ages and abilities.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to explore and develop their creativity and performance skills.
• Provide constructive feedback to students on their progress and support their growth in the subject.
• Prepare and mark assignments, assessments, and exams in a timely manner, in line with school policies.
• Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to develop and implement the Drama/Performing Arts curriculum and contribute to school-wide events and productions.

Requirements for the Role:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant degree or equivalent qualifications in Drama/Performing Arts.
• Proven experience in teaching Drama/Performing Arts to students of different ages and abilities.
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the Drama/Performing Arts curriculum.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Valid right to work in the UK and willingness to undergo a DBS check.
