Design and Technology Teacher Location: Slough Salary: £120 – £220 Start date: September 2023 GSL Education Watford are looking for a Design and Technology Teacher to teach at a brilliant and nurturing school in Slough from September. The ideal candidate will passionately cultivate enthusiasm and curiosity in our students to help them learn and grow both academically and socially through the provision of a safe and welcoming teaching experience. As a Design Technology Teacher your responsibilities will include: Planning and delivering DT lessons up to and including at GCSE standard (please note that any Design Technology subjects will be considered). Help devise engaging and creative lessons. Use all available resources to engage young people. Follow the ethos and policies of the School, promoting positive behaviour. Promote independent learning for all pupils. Take part in staff training days, staff meetings and parent s evenings. Minimum candidate requirements: Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE. Have recent experience teaching Design Technology at GCSE, BTEC or A-Level standard in an education setting. Be able to provide 2 professional references, relating to your teaching within the last 2 years. Be a passionate educator with an understanding of how special educational needs affects young people s teaching and learning methods. Hold an Enhanced, Child Only DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
