Deputy DSL (Designated Safeguarding Lead) required to support the DSL at a busy secondary school in East Birmingham. Do you have an in-depth knowledge of school safeguarding policies and procedures? Are you looking for a new challenging and rewarding role within a brilliant team? This school requires a Deputy DSL who has previous experience working within safeguarding. You will be joining an experienced u will be Designated Safeguarding Lead and a small team of DSL’s who are dedicated to ensuring the well-being and safety of students.As a Deputy DSL you will be working closely with the pastoral team, DSL and outside agencies to ensure that safeguarding procedures are followed correctly. You will be managing referrals, providing training for staff members and supporting the DSL in meetings with outside agencies, police, and local authority. This role requires an empathetic and organised individual who has previous experience with school safeguarding processes. Job Role:
