Cover SupervisorLocation: ThanetStart date: September 2023Salary: £75 – £90 per dayContract: Full-time, Long-termLight the way for young learners as a Cover Supervisor!We are looking to hire passionate and enthusiastic individuals to join the GSL Kent branch as Cover Supervisors, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment for our students.This role is for a secondary school in Thanet, dedicated to providing a first-class education for their students. As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom and take charge of lessons when teachers are absent. You will have the opportunity to inspire and motivate students across various subjects and year groups. Your dynamic presence and excellent organizational skills will ensure a seamless continuation of learning and enable students to thrive.Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons and cover work set by absent teachers.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support students’ learning and provide assistance when needed.
• Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their growth and development.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure effective lesson delivery.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students’ lives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong classroom management abilities.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across different subjects and year groups.
• Previous experience working with young people is advantageous but not essential.
