Computing Teacher Full Time

One of my long-standing client schools in Oldham is looking for a Computing teacher, to pick up a long-term supply cover. This position will start in September 2023 and will run for the full academic year. This post would be suitable for an ECT or a more experienced colleague.

This is a five day a week commitment and you will adopt a form group, and full pastoral duties.

The Computing/ICT faculty is well resourced and our school is led by a strong SLT. All long-term staff in the school through Prospero are paid to scale from day one of their booking, are well supported, and enjoy working in the school.

This particular cover will be Computing at KS3 and 4. Our school has a strong Behaviour Team/On Call and students respond will to consistency.

Our school is easily accessible by the M60, M62, and A6321 There are several local bus and train routes available so colleagues from across Greater Manchester and Yorkshire can consider this amazing opportunity.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Recent Graduate, with a 2:2 or higher
• UK Qualified Teacher Status is essential for this role
• Previous experience working in a UK school
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
