Compliance Manager – Hybrid Working Full Time

We are currently recruiting for a Compliance Team Leader/Manager to join a successful recruitment agency. You will be heading the compliance department by carrying out safeguarding and administrative checks for Teachers and support staff.

Duties to include:

• Manage the entire process of completing vetting checks for Teachers and Support Staff registered by the team
• Chase outstanding documents
• Check our online portal to check if candidates have completed their forms prior to registration interview with the Recruitment Consultant
• Ensure candidates details are recorded accurately on our database
• Complete DBS check/check if DBS is registered on the update service
• Obtain references for our candidates and chase monitor/chase these accordingly
• Answer any queries from candidates in an efficient and professional manner
• Communicating with the team regularly to ensure they are aware of the status of the candidates vetting checks
• Aim to complete vetting checks within 7 working days for each candidate
• Take part in weekly meetings with the Compliance Administrators to promote engagement and
• Supervise, coach and help motivate Compliance Administrators on all of the above duties
• Taking charge of preparation of audits carried out by REC every 2 years (education compliance aspect)
• Put forward to Manager ways in which we can continually streamline the compliance process for internal staff and candidates
• Ensure that candidates and clients receive a professional and comprehensive recruitment service at all times
• Comply with company management systems and procedures including accurate database management
• Develop an expertise of market conditions in Education in order to consult with candidates
• Conduct professional discussions with candidates using all mediums as appropriate
• Seek and provide feedback in a professional manner at all times to candidates
• Accurate recording of candidate and client information on the recruitment database
• Comply with all relevant employment legislation and appropriate codes of practice
• Comply with all Education specific legislation
• Comply with relevant health and safety legislation, employee rights and responsibilities

Location: Brentford. Hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days in the office)

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5.15pm

Salary: £26k to £33k depending on experience
