Teacher of Business Studies Required

Strood Academy- Based in Rochester – Kent

Long Term Role (January 2024 Start)

The Supply Register is currently working alongside the Leigh Academies Trust and are currently looking to appoint a Business Studies Teacher.

The ideal Business Studies Teacher should have sound knowledge of teaching methods and lesson design, the ability to create optimal learning environments and motivation to bring out the best in pupils.

Responsibilites as a Business Studies Teacher

• ? To teach the subject to groups of students of all abilities across the school
• To ensure that all lessons are planned with clear aims and objectives and delievered in line with the departmental schemes of work and school policies
• To take into account the differing ability of students and differentiate work accordingly
• To encourage all students to be be actively engaged in their own learning and in reviewing their progress against targets
• To deal with inappropriate behaviour effectively and in accordance to the school policy

Requirements

• Previous experience as a qualified teacher is essential
• Must hold QTS or PGCE
• Must have the Right to Work in the UK
• Must hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to process one
• Must be able to provide a minimum of 2 references and cover the last 2 years of employment or study periods
