Full-time Behavioural Teaching Assistant job in Central Bristol. Starting ASAP on a long-term basis. Your new companyA primary school are working exclusively with Hays Education and are recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant. The school focuses on the development and educational progression of each of their pupils, to ensure they receive the best support possible. This will be on a full-time basis, 5 mornings per week. Your new roleIf successful, you will be working as a SEN Teaching Assistant in Reception, supporting a child with mild Behavioural Difficulties. This will be on a 1:1 basis, focusing on their social wellbeing and academic progression. For this role, good behaviour management is essential. You will be closely monitoring the child’s progression and behaviour alongside the classroom teacher and their parents, so good communication skills are essential.What you’ll need to succeed

• You should have experience within a classroom setting in the last 2 years.
• You will need to have good behavioural management skills.
• You will need to be enthusiastic and passionate about the role.
• The ability to communicate effectively with all members of staff, parents and pupils.
