Role: Attendance OfficerLocation: WallsendPay: £15.00 per hourContract: 30 hours per, Temporary (Monday – Friday; 9am – 3pm)Start: ASAP

About the roleDue to demands on the department, we are now looking to recruit an Attendance Officer to support their students to start work as soon as possible.

Role responsibilities will include:

• Admin – attendance monitoring, reports and tracking.
• Delivery of some sessions of the programme to a small group of children
• Oversight of pupils who attend additional sessions for Maths & English

Ideal candidates will:

• Hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to have one processed.
• Undertake other relevant duties allocated including input to the monitoring and reviewing of work programmes
• During curriculum activities, under the direction of the teacher, provide support to enable students to achieve their learning aims.
• Maintain records of student’s progress as instructed by the class teacher including input to monitoring and reviewing of work programmes
• Prepare display materials and teaching aids, undertake simple maintenance and clean and tidy up after use
