This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team ahead of the opening of our brand-new Fitness facility at Calcot.Club Calcot is expanding on its Fitness offering introducing our new brand-new state of the art Grain Store Fitness facility with a new and enlarged gym, Holistic studio, Spin Shed and Fitness studio, welcoming new and existing Club Members.We are looking for someone energetic, motivated, passionate and full of innovative ideas, to become part of our dedicated team of fitness professionals who are passionate about delivering quality service to our Club Members and guests.Whilst the Grain Store will open in January we are ready for someone to join our team now to become an important part of our Club opening.Salary is inclusive of Calcot Gratuities

The Role:

• Support the Fitness Manager in the day to day running’s of the Fitness Department and ensure the smooth running of the Fitness Department in their absence
• To continually achieve optimum water quality, interpreting water tests and reacting accordingly, to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and safety for our members and guests. This to be the case across the three pools at Calcot Spa; Indoor Pool, Outdoor Pool and Hot Tub.
• Maintenance of gym and studio equipment. Ensuring the timely manner of reporting and resolving any issues
• Install high standards in the Fitness Team, by continually motivating and leading by example.
• Deliver Fitness Inductions and Assessments to our members, to ensure the safe and correct usage of the gym equipment.
• Personal trainer; upsell individual skill set and knowledge to work one on one with members to educate them on all aspects of health and fitness, create specific exercise plans created for their goals
• Plan and deliver fun, safe and varied group exercise classes, including but not limited to; Aqua, HIIT, Body Conditioning, Strength and Conditioning, Group Cycling,
• Support the Fitness Manager to oversee the Fitness class timetable continually reviewing and implementing changes based on stats and feedback.
• Deal with unexpected facility problems in the absence of Fitness Manager
• Understanding of the Club budget and continually striving towards achieving Fitness revenue

Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
• Previous management experience – desirable
• Qualified Level 3 Instructor
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong I.T skills
• Exercise to Music or equivalent Teaching Qualification/Experience – desirable
• Pool plant experience – desirable
• Must have own transport
