1:1 Learning Support Assistants needed in Bradford to start asap on long-term basis Your new schoolHays Education are working with a fantastic and ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rated Primary School in Bradford BD18 who are needing a passionate and reliable 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to start ASAP. The school has a 2-form entry system. This Bradford school is easily commutable from Leeds and Halifax via bus and train links, as well as from Bradford City Centre via train or bus. It’s literally stone’s throw from Bradford Interchange train station. Your new roleThe school are looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant/ Behaviour Support Worker who can start immediately on a long-term basis until the end of the academic year. The position will be in Year 2 working with 2 pupils in different classes and will be supporting both pupils, but it would be one at a time, depending on where the need is. This position is 5 days per week. The school need someone with a minimum 5 years’ experience working in school and 2 years proven experience supporting pupils with SEMH and behaviour needs. The school needs somebody who treats the job as a full-time permanent position and can work collaboratively.What you’ll need to succeedTo be considered for this Learning Support role in Bradford, you must have:

• A minimum 5 years’ experience working in school and 2 years proven experience supporting pupils with SEMH and behaviour needs and able to provide references.
• Available to work full-time – 5 days a week and from 08:30am to 15:30pm.
• Sound understanding of SEN and SEMH needs.
• Excellent behaviour management skills and experience.
• Clear understanding of safeguarding.
• DBS on Update Service or able to apply for a new DBS via Hays.
